Why is everything rare or just plain comical on ebay?

Still finding a way to custom make those reel to reel sheets cheaply.

If you decide to buy this model find the one in excellent cosmetic condition. Sony logo on the front side and looks beautiful when the cosmetic condition is good.
So this one on Ebay shows horrible cosmetic condition and i am sure it doesn't work. So i wouldn't buy it

I would not buy it, unless you really got to have one. You can just make an offer for what you think it's worth and see if he accepts. Personally i would not have it, even if it is free it looks a mess.

I don't see anything wrong with those 2 auctions. The Teac Cobalt is indeed more rare than the more common Teac Sound 52 tapes. And yes many people would be interested in that Sony box, if they collect tapes and want the original box. 10 euros is pocket lint.
