Hello all! I'm new to the portable stereo scene and I thought this site would help get me engaged into the community. My first walkman was a WM-AF54 (featured below) I found at a local garage sale, but I'm interested in models from all brands. I'm currently on the hunt for a model my mother had during the 80s. According to her description, it had a metal body with silver/chromed mechanical buttons rather than soft-touch. The key feature of the device was AMS or blank skip or whatever you want to call it. Unfortunately she can't remember the brand so I have no idea where to start looking. I'll be posting another thread related to this subject in the chat forum.
