Hi guys, just a quick question! I've been replacing the belts on some of my Walkmans. Can someone give me a quick guide in opening up the FX 315, can't get the the casing open, any help much appreciated, cheers!
I am not expert and just trying to help you I think this walkman can be opened using a little patience and care I do not have this model but opened similar models with pulling the back compartments from the opening gap and by using a credit card to separate the back plate. Few years ago i needed some walkman screws and decided to buy a cheap walkman just to use the screws. So i bought the cheapest walkman available in the market and I was shocked once I received it. There was not a single screw in that walkman not even inside it. Anyway I practiced on it and it helped me to open Big Lebowski walkman later. (thanks to @samovar who directed me how to open it) So there are little plastic parts that snaps to each other and hold the back and front compartments together. Through the gap tr to open 2 parts and make sure not to break the little plastic parts. Be patient and you can open it.
Ah,thanks for that my friend.Just needs a little care and patience,then. Like you say theres no screws in the cheaper walkmans,making it really difficult to refurb. Cheers!
