hello Sköll and welcome to stereo2go forums
Its better to introduce yourself something more than a "Hi". something about your first cassette player that you owned or your hobbies, collection....

    Alrighty, here we go.

Hello, My name is Ethan. I am from Ellicott Ciry Maryland, and the first cassette player I owned was some white westinghouse walkman. Cant remember the model but it was really fancy, bass boost, am fm radio, auto reverse + a reverse button, and maybe even direct drive. Cant remember. I ended up mutilating it for a cosplay project (jacket from hotline Miami) which actually got me into this stuff. I put in a raspberry pi, a very loud speaker, and about 20 buttons for different phrases. I still have the shell somewhere. Maybe I can find it. Bought it unopened with headphones at a yardsale for 5$. However I hope I did not mutilate some relic as I can not find anything online about it. :beg

I currently I own a blue/gold sony wm-10, Sony fx141, and a broken fx251.(accidentally broke all thr adjustable resistors trying to adjust the speed.) Also I am currently looking into picking up a DD walkman so if anybody has any info to steer me to the right direction that would be extremely helpful.

I am quite new to this analogue audio stuff as I am quite young (probdbly one of the youngest on the site haha) but I am really enjoying it so far and prefer it way more than digital. I have even built my first hifi around it. If y'all like I can post a pic of it.

    Thank you Sköll ,
WM-10 is a collectible walkman, I have some of them in my collection. I do not have any FX141 and FX251.

Getting a DD walkman is a wise choice.
DD series are always on top of my list , Other significant models:
    DC2
    D6C
    TPL-S2 and its relatives (WM-3, WM12, TCM600)

and by the way we would like to see your hifi setup

No problem, and thank you for the info! I was having trouble narrowing it down. Also I am currently away from the burrough but will be back tomarrow noon. In the mean time here are some of the items in my hifi.

    Nakamichi DR-3
    Technics Sl-q300
    Kenwood ar304
Panasonic RA-6500(not the best but fun to mess around with and gorgeous)
And a 6disk CD player (can't remember the mode as I rarely use it so it is on that bottom shelf haha)

And I'll post a pic of all my Walkman once the wm-10 is back from repair. Go figure a wm10 is broken haha.

    Picture time!

CD player is a TEAC PD-800M

P.S. Ignore the reverb machine on top of the Kenwood it is not plugged in. Needed somewhere to store it and it fit in there nicely.
