GRUNDIG RR9000

    Studio Line, like Fine Arts, same design, black with gold. Original remote. Cant open the door of the deck. Tape was stuck in. Any help? grundig-rr9000-studio-line-slika-77383659.jpg

    I am not a tech person but most probably the head is stuck half way up or down or having not completed the reverse circle due to a poor belt for example.
    Now the head holds the cassette thus blocking the tape door.

    Not sure about this stereo but you can try to disassemble the body, try to open it from the back first. But the locked door may prevent you from doing this easily.
    Once opened you can manually release the head, roll it back to the initial position (STOP) by manually rotating this big flywheel inside (not sure about the English term proper for boxes).

    If not sure abour technical, repair skills I'd bring it to a good tech guy.

    Im affraid that might broke something inside because im not tech. And because it looks like new and cd plays, i should leave it as it is. 10x for helping Mystic.

    Then don't do it yourself, sure. :) I wouldn't if I were you. Leave it for a while or bring to a good tech guy on some occasion.

    Yea be carful with this, i tried it on 1 of my boxes and broke one of the guides on the head, im really not sure what you can do in situations like this unless the back cover cones off as explained above, good luck
