Thanks Mister X, I've manage to download that service manual and had a quick look through it. The unit doesn't turn on, I've check the battery and the contacts with a multi meter. The unit is getting power from the gum stick battery and backup pack AA. Belt is gone and needs replacement. Odd thing is the other day I had both battery connected and I press FF or Play not sure with one I press and the motor was spinning. The LED indicated that it was playing. But then after I swapped battery it wouldn't come back on at all.
