I managed to acquire This Micro Unit quite cheaply on E-Bay and when I tried it without any tapes ( I had none ) it seemed to play, FF and rewind efficiently, I managed to acquire a pre- recorded micro tape of the Beatles White album and also the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon .When I played the Beatles tape it started well enough but began to run a little slow but rewound ok .I then played the PF tape but this was running much more slowly and the tape then struggled to rewind more and more and played more slowly as well . I tried changing the batteries for new ones but this made no difference so I think the belt need changing Does anyone have any experience of this unit or know how to change the belts on it .I tried unscrewing the 3 screws on the back but nothing seemed to budge and I was not going to risk doing anything more .Any thoughts would be much appreciated .Thanks

    Hi T-ster
Thanks for your reply and it would be most helpful if you could let me know how you get on .I have quite a few recorded micro cassette tapes that I cannot play at the moment. However my expertise at repairs is minimal .Philip
