Hi As I was about to give up and buy another model, I came across this very nice example that I was looking for, I bid and won the auction, pretty low, came from US to here in France, was a bit scared when I saw the packing arriving, very few protection.. but the boombox arrived safe and sound, This unit is exactly 35 years old ( brings me back to when I was 11..) it looks and works as new, it seems it just left the factory, I have never owned such a minty bbox, just cleaned the heads a bit and that's it, all functions 100% Sounds good, looks fabulous!!!!!!!!! Still shiny and new I think this has been barely used and kept under a blanket.. Now the pics, enjoy!!! : Edit : new pics with sticker on, listening to Jeff Healey Band "See the light" album, sounds great!! Best music to listen on this beauty is soft rock in my opinion (John Cougar Mellencamp, Pretenders, Police etc...)

thanks I just love the design, simple, big, even if it's a cheap boombox, it looks absolutely stunning !! The radio reception is very good too The sound is really good for just a tone box, and loud, and this one is really like new !!! I've been lucky to find it and I am really happy I'm gonna keep it and cherish it now and listen to my good old tapes and even buy some new ones!! This radio also appears in the movie "Pump up the volume" from 1990, this is one of my all time favourite movies and this is another reason why I love this box My personal grail !! So glad to own it Price was not so cheap due to expensive shipping fees from the US but all in all it's ok, I prefer to pay more and have a minty one!! Cheers
Congrats yann b, is a very simple unit from 82-83, I also have very nice memories of this unit, and I’m also still looking for a minty unit for my collection , hopefuly I can find one in the box .
Lovely Sanyo from the golden era!! Minty too & I would buy one in that condition too!! Love the Led meter, these were still quite a new thing in those days & having one or two on a stereo was a definite bonus
