Sony CDitII chrome tapes. Head damage doubt

    Recently i bought 14 Sony CDit II chrome tapes and i make 3 records from my vinyls before i read a thread about head dammaging.

    I have the slide series with blue tapes and i examined the deck heads and not shows pitting marks.

    My doubts is What CDit II models por series causes damage on your tape heads?

    Where did you read about the Sony CDit II damaging heads?

    Oh yes I did read about it on Tapeheads, but it was not conclusive. I would say if you are not having problems, carry on using them.

    I have recorded about three of them without issues until now...
