I'm still trying to figure out if cassette2go is right about the little Sears box being a Marantz UNIX, I'm getting close, just munching on some caffeinated, spicy chips and some Japanese Vitamin Drink, checking out my new find.
This one is the UNIX CRS-3, UNIX does have a microcassette deck, if you think the CS-1 is kind of rare, the UNIX CRS-2 is ultra rare, Japanese Market Only. One came up for sale last year but they wanted silly money for it. I went over to Japan and picked this little guy up last week, it's really small and very well built just like the other Marantz/UNIX Boomboxes.
