    Hey guys,

Been into boomboxes for a long time. Started out with an older small Prosonic box which was horrible, but did the trick for the time being. Ended up getting a BPC fisher boombox, FH-D615 or so. Played the HELL out of it when I was a teen lol.

I borrowed my cousin's Sony FH-7 stereo, and that is what got me hooked. :) It had some serious bass to it. I had quite a few boxes that I collected back in the day, and I've given them away or sold them off.

Currently I have a Sony CFS-9000 (I had 6 at one time!) that has been with me for the last 30 years or so, and that sits at my sister's cottage. I've got a JVC PC-55 that is at the office, my son has a gifted panasonic RX-DT680, and I have an older sony FS-315 sitting in the laundry room.

I generally like using cassettes a LOT, so I tend to fix the tape decks on most of the boxes I have

I've got a CFD-5 that I'm currently working on that I'll ask in another thread. Thanks!

Welcome DanB, I'd love to see the looks the PC-55 gets when people first see it.

Welcome! The PC-55 is a great box, is its LCD screen still lit up orange?
