Ok maybe not so much of deck as it a boom box (or all in one unite).

But neither less it uses microcassette and it records the in stereo an which I have to say Im impressed with sound quality of this thing!

Granted it is more hissie then most type one types.

But the frequency they were able to get out of this thing is impressive!

I was not expecting it to have as much treble as I original thought and the bass.

Man. The bass was a lot more that I was expecting (again from a microcassette). So that was a really nice surprise.

Especially if you have the original headphones that were supposed be supplied with the unit. For some reason Sanyo(/ge (but really sanyo)) decided to put a bit more bass in the headphones and in the speakers of the main unit.

So over all the microcassette part of this unit has really blow me away! The only part that I was a little upset about was the fact that theres no manule recording level control's. Instead it all automatic.

Well the tape just ended so looks like ill be stoping this review thingy for now and its also pretty late so. Ill take to in the comments when I get the chance
    and also good night!

Don't bad-mouth that Philip Taylor, that's COLOR TV! Nice unit SeanMT, such a cool slice of 80's history, I just imagine some guy on Wall Street with this unit on his desk with everything that nobody else has. The GE Version showed they still invested in USA even though most people didn't know it was made in Japan.

I grabbed a Blonder Tongue Transmitter and now can broadcast to these old sets and it's so cool seeing old videos playing on the screen in color. Most of these were black and white until the Casio LED Units took over, so these are really neat because they were ahead of the time when they came out.
