Holy god! 1200$ Renato, I think you and me have part of guilty for this model to be so expensive. I remember your post to be the very first source for information about this model in the old forum, and my post in my blog and here just contributed to spread the word. If you search for it, mine comes up as the very first result in Google... I'm Happy, though to be an owner of one of these jewels.
Published in my blog: http://www.walkman-archive.com/wa/2018/02/the-rare-tps-l2-guys-dolls-at-pawn-stars/ thanks for the info, guys.
The Guys and Dolls model comes up on Yahoo Auctions sometimes and they fetch premium prices. Glad I got a regular TPS-L2 for practically nothing few years ago.
I can see how the price increases with the new information being posted and I love that people are being rewarded for the hobby but the reality is if there was no information about these units then a lot of them would be forgotten or destroyed.
I bought my second GUYS&DOLLS today. A beautiful specimen with extremely rare accessories. View attachment 12753
Seen it on Yahoo some time ago. (Unfortunately not mine) GUYS&DOLLS with sticker and the lowest serial number on TPS-L2 ever seen. Almost a Prototypen
My latest Guys & Dolls have a slightly high serial number. 37201 But it is real. I have this with the original box. The box, the manual, and the two cases are different from the normal Japanese version.
