    Hello there!

My nickname is Wobbe and I am 30yrs old.
I live in The Netherlands and I rediscovered the joy of using Cassette tapes.
I like to repair walkmans in my spare time, that is the reason I joined the forums, to exchange knowledge with you all.

For now I repaired to fully working:
    - Sony TCM-3 -this thing is LOUD!. Lubricated and replaced belts.
    - Sony TCS-430 - Lubricated and replaced belts.
    - Sony WM-3060 -This one was in rough shape, Replaed speaker cable, was corroded to the point of being gone, Lubricated and replaced belts.

in the proces of repairing these:
    - Sony WM-D3, Replaced Centergear with Marians new gear, but now the thing works fine but has no sound out, Peak leds don't work and battery graph shows 1 led, figuring out what to do now.
    - Sony WM-DD33, Play button thingy broke that holds the heads in place. hoping to find a space green play button.

I hope to enjoy my stay here and learn a lot, maybe a can contribute too!
    Take Care!

    -Wobbe

Thanks for joining Wobbe, please document your fixes with photos, there's nothing better than looking at vintage electronics getting worked on. If your looking for information, check out the forum reader, it has the "old" forum that's been restored, there's a ton of information for long-gone members on fixing lots of different units.
