Hi, I'm still trying to obtain a wired remote for Walkman Ex-921. Found a broken one, one whose seller won't ship overseas, and one with another 921 with an acceptable price but got beat to the punch on buying it. The remote for the 921 is RM- WME23RL. Remote for a 910 is RM-WME23L. Remote for a 610 and possibly others is RM-WME23. I also find RM-CD15L which looks like it and has similar controls but was intended for a disc Walkman. I read somewhere that RM-WME23, RM-WME23RL, and RM-WME25 (which I think is for an EX-900) are cross compatible. But I know nothing of the credibility of the person who posted that. All of these remotes have a digital display. The remotes for the disc player are far easier to find. Does anybody know if there is any cross compatibility among them? It's probably a safe bet that the models which they are intended to control should have the same functions as mine. Thanks in advance. Don

Follow up to original post. I've bought another 921 to get a remote. The remote that came with it is RM-WME23 without the RL. Works fine. The owner of a 921 with the RL remote confirmed for me that it also works. While that's not absolute proof of cross compatbility, it is encouraging. This Walkman is in much better condition than the first one which I've not had time to work on. Plugged it in to the system in our 2013 Ford truck and all I can say is Wow! The 921 was not even Japanese made. The better ones must be incredible. The stereo in this truck is not the least bit impressive. Analog actually found some life in it. Don
