hi all, this is my first post here so forgive me if this is the wrong section for this thread. I just purchased a Wm-10II and the front plastic has the same texture as the inside of the case. It’s pretty cloudy and feels rough. I was wondering what y’all would recommend to polish it back to how it looked from the factory? I don’t want to replace it if I don’t have to. The machine works beautifully but the plastic really bugs me. I really don’t want to mess up the plastic worse than it already is.
If the printing is on the inside, you might be able to use something like Novus Polish on the outside, the printed side will have to be cleaned with extreme care, just about anything will also clean off the printing. https://www.novuspolish.com/
Nothing It is not possible to make it exactly the way it came out of factory, but you can work on it to make it looks nice. first of all be careful not use any cleaning material on the printed side (inside the walkman) use just a wet towel for cleaning inside. For the exterior part or face of the acrylic plastic use "novus" blue color as @Mister X recommended. Another option is to use toothpaste on a clean soft cloth and polish the acrylic in circular pattern. You can also use PolyWatch Polish to clean and polish the acrylic
