Very Early Casio Calculator

Here is mine, complete with original box. Best described as a Pocket Watch Calculator.
I was looking for something more special than mere gold plate but this turned up first.

 

The same height as a cassette, which is why I put one in the photo. To be honest, compared to even a credit card sized calculator, it is too small to be practical. At the time I purchased it a few years ago on eBay they didn't seem to be particularly rare. Probably the sort of thing that would be given as a gift and then after much admiring put in a drawer and forgotten about.

 

Looks like that, the same thought.
I couldn't get in the net how much it did cost back then.
Could have been a rather expensive gift.

UPD: Thanks to my forum mate - he found the price - circa $35, better than
350 and fair enough IMO.

 

Better a Lada than a "Trabie"...!
