Sony WM-3 missing part - what is the function?

    Hi,
    recently I found a Sony WM-3 at a fair price. Cleaned it, changed the belts and idler rings and now it works pretty good.
    The white part is missing on this WM-3 (see picture) The part is called "bushing", part #3-545-657-01 according to the service manual
    Does anybody knows the function of this part and the material it is made of?
    Since my local Sony dealer doesn't have this part on stock ;) I would be grateful if someone could provide a drawing withe the dimensions of this part.

    The part is a white plastic plug. It is used to blank off the hole which allows access to the azimuth adjustment screw, at the side of the playback head.

    thank you for that information. So it's really no essential part, it's more cosmetic.
