    My name is Alex, and I am new to the community. I have been a long time fan of Sony's line of Walkman and Discman devices. Currently I am working on repairing a Sony WM-D6C. Happy to be a part of the community. Cheers!

    Post your tribulations, @Deb64 knows everything there is to know about these beauties, helped in my restoration of D6... “Help” meaning that without her guidance I would have never fixed mine!!!

    I sourced a chip to fix the speed module on the unit in question, since it's playing fast. The Mic Attenuator switch got pushed in and the black plastic broke off, presuming it was dropped at some point.
