Greeting everyone. New to the forum. I'm 51 years old and have moved from vinyl to tape to CD, to an iPod to my phone and my own music server at home. I've taken a step back and am back on the CD part of my journey. But what really brings me here is my 16-year-old son, and his new obsession with the Sony Walkman and cassette tapes. Back in high school I used quite a number of "Walkman knockoffs." I think I may have had an Emerson brand player. Used them till the headphone jack broke and then moved on to the next cheap player. I'm here to learn a lot. And wax nostalgic about the various portable devices I have used over the years.
