    sorry for my little english..
    I'm Dan from italy
I love cassette tapes and portable player (1998-2000 slim walkman)
I discovered you during a search for information on a walkman and now, to try to build an old rechargeable battery that no longer exists.

    welcome to S2G @walkieman
Most slim walkman units using rechargeable flat batteries that still exist in the market. AIWA walkman require different type of flat batteries that you need to rebuild it.
    what model is your walkman?

I'm always afraid that in the long run the battery holder may break.
    which batteries do you use?
i m thinking to built an external case with a 2xaaa holder and a dc plug to use the socket for external ac adapter of the aiwa.
