    Hi

It’s been over 20 years since I have had anything to do with cassettes. Well it’s never too late...

Jump in, there's nothing like a portable cassette player to get people talking.

Still gotta figure out how to change pinch roller. New center gear, reel gear and capstan ring already changed. I took apart the whole headphone output and cleaned all the contacts.

Btw, I’m not sure if this is the right place for these projects so you guys let me know. Next week there should be another project already going.

Welcome t-muckles. I have those models too! Very nice. I'm sure you will re-enjoy the tape experience with those.

Thanks! I think it would be better to change the DDII to DC2, but let´s enjoy this setup for now. :)

Lucid Labs CMOY headphone amp seems to work pretty nice with walkmans.

+1 to @TooCooL4 - there is some magic to Ray Samuels h/p amps that is very addictive. I have two: Hornet and SR-71 and they make me forget about the “absolute sound” and my immediate surroundings... Relatively cheap but there is definitely some audio-magic in them:)

LOVE those headphones foam-pads: they bring back sweet memories of my "yout"(as pronounced in "My Cousin Vinnie") when I had to wash my ears and hair after spending too much time listening to some Beatles-Disco-PinkFloyd tunes. My fav colour for the foams was blue and it just could not stay put and had to stain my hairdo!... the sweet memories of having hair...:)
