Hey S2G, I have the opprotunity to buy a Nakamichi TD-300 car stereo on ebay for 48 dollars. Its untested, and its missing a button. I know Nakamichi makes great products and I havent seen many car stereos from them, is this a good buy?

Car stereos are cool, guys are buying the full stack and making home mini-stereos out of them. Nakamichi's tend to go for much more, or try to. They're kind of a niche market, if you love them, I'd say go for it. If your looking for a cool car stereo, there's probably better working models.

I'm not sure but you may need a home Nakamichi Deck to get the best sounding recordings on the car deck. Bluesy loves Nakamichi and might have more information on his website.

I already have a home deck, a BX-150, and unfortunately due to circumstances brought on by the recent pandemic, I am no longer in the position to buy it. Thanks though.
