    Hello.

Does anyone have link to a service manual for Jvc CX-5K or CX-F5K

I need to change the belt and need the disassembly steps. Or video if anyone has a link.

    Many thanks

I am going to have a crack at it without the manual :)
I might make a YouTube video for the tear-down, might help someone else as I couldn't find any.

If I do I'll share it here.
Having trouble finding a replacement belt too...

I'm going to be doing the same as soon as a belt arrives. I couldn't find a model specific belt and ordered one of the grab bags of 60 generics. I did come across this, which seems pretty analogous to the CX-5 ..... https://www.petervis.com/manuals/jvc-cx-f7k/repair.html

If you'd share your progress/experience here or on youtube it'd definitely be appreciated!

Thanks for the info, yes the internals of the CX7K are very similar to the CX-5K and the belt will be the same between the two.
(still can't find the original belt for the 7K either though...)

    Hi there,

I've done the video of the disassembly and belt change for the 5K.
    You can see it here:

I have also included a link in the video for the eBay seller who now has the belts.
    The same belts are used on 5K, F5K, 7K & F7K

    All working perfectly again :)

Hope you guys find it useful
    Ant.
