Sony WM-EX521 missing switch

    Just a quick one, I have an EX521 with a missing tape detector switch (the one which tells the unit there is a tape in the machine). Can I just solder the contacts together on the board to fool it or is there another hack I could use?

    This is a screenshot from is similar walkman its switch S901 should be possible as far as I see it
