Hello everybody, i visited stereo2go lots of times. Now it's time to take it to the next level and become a member . Fascinated by the early 80's hip hop culture i have collected a lot of vinyl and tapes (shared a lot of digitized 80's NY hip hop tapes on a blog). And recently i started also collecting the 'hardware'. Let's say its a mixed bag of stuff but i love it all. Ghettoblasters: National Panasonic RX-5600, Sony CFS 88L, Audio Sonic TBS-1100, Philips D8803 (aka The Elephant), Philips D8644, Philips Le Cube (includes storage for drinks and cassettes), Akai AJ420 FL (bought as a kid), Akai PJ15 (3D speakers), Palladium 872-075. Walkman: Toshiba KT-S2 with FM stereo tuner pack, Sony Walkman WM-ex505 Portable Tape recorder: Panasonic RQ114 (an odd one in my collection but it was too beautiful not to buy) and i have some vintage Technics, not '2go' but definitely stereo : SL-V5 (vertical turn table) SL-6 turntable SE-C01, SU-C01, ST-C01 (Technics Concise set) and the RS-M02 cassette deck And because i also collect pinball back glasses, i combined my Philips D8803 and the Magnotron backglass as my avatar picture Cheers from the Netherlands / Amsterdam!
Welcome Magnotron, a few of us have pinballs, I grew up with that whole culture as a young boy, those were good times. Great equipment collection, I'd love to see more of the Panasonic RQ 114, I think I posted an ad for one of those awhile back, those are really neat looking.
