folks, i had some time to replace the defective centre-gear in a few of my units. now my dc2 is giving me some trouble. it starts and works fine for about 40 seconds but then starts yawling terribly. after restart it‘s the same. i‘ve checked all bearings, frosted and sanded the rubber-ring on the capstan flywheel etc. etc. all my other units work fine, it‘s only this one giving me trouble. now i can‘t really say if this effect wasn‘t there before as the old centregear was that cracked that the mechanism blocked. anybody had that problem/effect on a DD Walkman before ? did you solve it ? how ? thanx folks !
