So, my Sony tape deck has a DAT input and a MOVIE input. The DAT has a sensitivity of 450mV, and the MOVIE is 300mV. My question is, which one is best if I'm inputting from my PC sound card? Or does it not really matter?

Why don't you just try both and pick the one that sounds best to you?

Yes I've tried both and they both sound the same. I just wondered if there was some technical reason why one was better than the other.

Well all I can guess is that both DAT & Video are putting out different voltages, hence they need different amount of gain from the amplifier. Since both loadings on the amp is the same 47K ohm.
