    Hi,

I have just done a cracked main gear repair on this WM and it's now working great (bought the wheel from fix your audio dot com) it was expensive but good quality and worth it I think. Postage was quick!

The azimuth was definitely off - tapes had a muffled sound. I don't have a calibration tape so adjusted it listening to a good quality classical tape until is sounded 'right'. Problem is that when the azimuth is adjusted until the treble sounds right, there seems to be a very boomy bass response too. Is there any other adjustment of the internal pots for tone or suspect components?

    Thanks,

    Dave.

Sorry, I don't know enough about these units to help you but maybe you could record the tape to MP3 and look at the waveform on your computer, the graphical picture might help you dial it in better. The tape your using and headphones might help as well.

I was using modern hybrid in ear phones.. the boom was coming from them. With over ear Sennheisers, it sounds fine now. Thanks.
