SONY WALKMAN VINTAGE WM-DC2 FOR PARTS ONLY. MINT COSMETIC CONDITION CASSETTE PLAYER, DOLBY B/C. NEW eBAY ITEM #164545269412 (Sorry to say that this item had to be relisted because I just gave it a final test and briefly heard the "clicking" sound and then the motor stopped spinning, very frustrating. Recently I installed my last genuine Sony part # x-3578-142-0 center gear on this unit but I guess it has since cracked. However, the unit is in mint cosmetic condition even though it's functionally sold for parts or repair)

Yeah, I feel bad that I can't sell to international buyers. A while back I used to but then a couple of international buyers started taking advantage of eBay's return policies. If an international buyer makes a false claim for a return, the seller has to pay the full amount for return shipping. I got burned from this policy.

As far as a story behind the vest, I got it a while back and can't remember exactly when. It's never been worn out and has been stored for years. A fairly practical garment with a special pocket for a TPS-L2/Walkman and snap-loops for the headphone cable. As mentioned in the eBay listing, the signature Sony Walkman colors of blue and orange are quite vivid. The material is kind of thick too, so it feels well made.

Yes soundabout I know what you mean, I got burnt like you with a buyer from Japan. I had more of an issue with PayPal, so I have now stopped using PayPal altogether.
