All is good in MadCity, WI USA ...... Yikes, eight inches (twenty centimeters) of snow last weekend, we're digging out slowly. Ample time to do some cassette taping, j-card prep and music listening. George Winston's 'Ballads & Blues' in-progress. Cheers, Bleusy
Oh, recording made on a fresh TDK MA EX C-60 cassette. Album & Recording George Winston - 'Ballads & Blues' Spec Edition Source from Marantz CD-63 SE deck. Recorded to Nakamichi ZX-9 Cassette Deck
No snow up here, I didn't know you guys got any. Did you get a package from Japan? I was telling Jorge to head over to Japan, travel is cheap right now, everything is open over there and there's a ton of audio.
Yow, a buddy of mine living in Yokohama has connections around mainland Nippon, and he sends me a few cassettes annually. During holidays, I exchange him with an authentic Danish-style Kringle from Racine, Wisc. Kringles, done correctly, ship nicely ..... Delicious !!! Bleusy
Where's the rest of the gang ? Holidays are abound us now, snowy weather in northern countries too ........ Bleusy
Happy Holidays I was amazed to see snow in Lyndhurst (UK South Coast) on the way to work on Tuesday. Less than 1cm but enough to make it look Christmassy. Of course by midday rain had washed it away. This time of year it rains 50% of the time here.
Merry Christmas, my friends!!! baby-Christmas tree is live and in a week or two will be planted next to the house Christmas presents are hiding behind SL-1200: "Memory Streams" by Portico Quartet and one new 2TB USB-SSD
Merry Christmas! New incredible speakers as a gift... they just need a new box to match the design...
Hi Daniela, That's a really nice kit you've got in the photo. The bears are looking cozy sitting there. By-the-way, how are those speakers doing for you? Any good cassette tape listening recently ?? Until next holiday season ..... Cheers to all
The speakers are great. Had not time to build a proper case to fit the design of the boombox. I highly recommend them. Very powerful and clear. A huge improvement! Here's a link (sorry in German) Right now it's snowing outside. I just can't wait for spring...
