    Happy New Year everyone.
Let's hope normality is restored in 2021, and as someone whose social life revolves around Dance classes (Ceroc) this is allowed by the end of the year

Wow snow, we can only dream of it where I am in the UK. We have not seen snow that settles for years.

Yep, there is some this year in St. Petersburg.
Of course, better to go to a countryside, it's melting in the city, it's +1 now.

    Mystic Traveller that looks nice.

I miss having snow fights and also going out on my mountain bike just after the snow has fallen, those were the days. Damn global warming :veryangry:

Don't speak too soon. Two pictures from March 2018
    Snow March 2018.JPG Journey Home.JPG
The second shows my journey home that night, Normally it takes 20 miles and about 35 minutes. I gave a lift to a colleague who, had he got on his usual train would have been stranded overnight on it.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Lewisham_train_strandings#Dorset_–_Hampshire_border

After that journey I bought Snowsocks for my car, as most of the ten mile diversion was due to a hill / slope approaching Ashurst that no one with normal tyres could get up.

I can beat that! About 2010 we had snow quite bad in my neck of the woods. I live about 12 miles from work, normally 20-30 min journey maximum, even with normal traffic. They let us go early this one day, 3.30pm. I got home at 2.15 am! Madness! As soon as snow hits the ground here, people go mental, like they've never seen it before, then they lose the ability to drive and panic.

Few days late, but Happy New Year to the S2G family. Lets hope life gets back to some sort of normality soon!
