    Hi,
I own an Aiwa HS-J2 in virtually brand new condition, but, unfortunately, the left channel volume pot is damaged and doesn't work past level 2.
This unit has a volume control with twin wheels that can rotate independently.

I'm looking for any cheapest cassette players that have such volume control arrangement, to source a replacement volume pot from one.
If you know of any, please let me know here.

Did you try a Deoxit treatment on the pots?
In most cases, Deoxit will fix it.

I'm not sure about the dimensions of the pot, the following models have the same 2 wheel arrangement.
    • Sony TCS-300
    • National/Panasonic RX-1960
    • Sanyo M-G50
Not really cheap stuff, but in my area the M-G50 is quite easy to find cheaply for parts.
