Hi thanks for accepting me. My journey started with a very basic Alba walkman. This player never left my side. Learnt to ffwd/rwd using anything I could pens, pencils even bus tickets. Only had one prerecorded tape and a few tapes with songs from radio. I was lost when it packed up!
Left school and got a job... Big jump here around 1992/92... Spent £170 on this Awia dream! It was epic... Rechargeable battery, in line remote, msp, a fantastic digital radio, feather touch controls. Went to US to do Camp America, but whilst going through checkin left it in xray! Sat at me gate and about to board and then remembered! Developed an issue playing which I sorted by using a bit of tape, but then packed up. I sent it away, but they couldn't fix it and I agreed to a placement. However this was an inferior Awia which I sold to a friend. That was that.
Panasonic Cobra Top RX-DT75, this got nicked and again for the second time insurance sent me a 77 as replacement, again inferior, the 77 didn't even have an aux!
MD313 and MZ-R50 next. Still got still work... That's it.
I would love to get the Awia back, but because I sent the whole thing off to be repaired, box and all, I don't even know the model number! I've looked around but have only found one stock photo. I would be really grateful if anyone can tell me which model it is. Thanks c0043512_4b2a2c0badd88.jpg
