Hello, today i got two of these, both need some repairs, one working on external adaptor but not on bateries, second only motor spining, but nothing hapining. So loose conektion and belt. Disasebling front panel fell out metal peace with hole (about 30x5mm), well i decided on second unit i look where to put it, but second same story, litlle gap on panels ant its out, so now working both, without those metal peaces, what culd it be?

Other question on same player. Today i notislced interesting thing, havent played alot of tapes, played tdk optima 1 and 2, and that's vx, worked decent, not briliant, sometimes speed droped on moving (shaking for testing) well i wasnt intending to us them every day, so ok. Today i tried other ampex tape, and it wont turn it, (i ff and rew, recorded it on onkyo deck it worked fine), o tried to push pinch roler to capstan and it started to play. So im wonderin, is it spring needs more tention (roler is on spring), or need to replace pinch roller?
