Nice, I love that style of B&O. I've got the 2400 BeoMaster, the matching tape deck and turntable. I think they were all found separately around town about 10 years ago. Surprisingly the needle fairies didn't take off the turntable's needle, they were worth a fortune back then before they started remanufacturing them again.

them needle fairies... b’strds.. yu woz lucky brother!
The 1902 came with a MMC 20 E in acceptable condition ... once im happy with the turnout at the inaugeration ceremony.. perhaps i’ll look to considering a regrind and polish for it... til then though theres 44yrs of upper middle class filth to scrape the pooor things. Attention to be lavished upon their archaic comms routing and well.. they need love... my shoulders are ready and broad enough to be drenched in their tears. Theyre home now... a better life i promise.
so... sleeves rolled... shall we begin?

That's one of the reasons I love audio equipment, all of the different designs and the hundreds of designers that may never be known. A few years ago this guy was working on a documentary concentrating on the designers but something happened and no new info has been released for a few years.

Can you give some insight on how you regrind a needle? I've got a couple dozen that came with TTs, I usually dip them in Magic Eraser once in awhile but once I get my equipment set back up I want to make sure everything is performing nicely.

    what ho Mister X!
rikey that boombox documentary looks a good watch. i’ll give that my fullest.

now. ... regrinds and polishes.., theres some crafty folk who specialise there.. very close-in work indeed. a jewellers eye and tool box for the job. very reasonable price wise too. by far the cheaper option to purchasing a new NOS item... no doubt i’ll be investigating and sharing amongst all the tomKats LadyKatz and TransAnd MultiGenderKatz freakyTapey peeps here.

oh... and yes... reel life distractions aside.. ive got hard copies of service dox in my manos now. So proper attention can be poured into the Shield Maidens.
Im bothered by the BOsettes common ground with regard to the DIN sokkit... its ok on paper, as you physicists out there will witter. But in reality? RU Fewlin Mr Jensen? For how much?
so... from DIN to Bal i go.. my Danish Twins honour to restore... obvs thisll consume my enjoyment time here (which i dont give up easily let me assure you all) ... so if i disparoo fear not.. for i’ll be back with tales for sharing afore you thread clokkas have caught up ya new thread alarms.
    keep it tapey !!
    yay!!
