Hello, I recently posted about help I needed with a new walkman I had purchased. A member was kind enough to show me what needed to be done to repair it, as well as making me realize I don't have the skill to do this myself. If anyone here is more of an expert and has done these repairs before or at least can direct me to someone who does I would greatly appreciate the help. A very delicate machine with a wonderful playback head - potential to sound fantastic.. I've repaired several of my own and now have the benefit of Marian's replacement gear for these 'green button' models - but repairing for someone else is not something I fancy as I would not be able to guarantee the work and it would just take hours . My WM-F550C also had a recap..but it was no fun at all!
