    Howdy Folks

I have Problems with a WM-D6C. First is the problem off playing way to fast. Changing the Speed Tune Changes nothing. Second Problem is a knocking sound out off the Unit when it plays (Mechanicly not over the Output) Maybe a broken gear ?

I have some Experience with taking small things apart but not with solderling etc. Would be sad if i cannot repair it. I did google for a while but did not find an exact Anwser. Seems to be a Unit with a alot of possible Problems.

I thank all off you for suggestions on what i could be and i apologize for my bad English ( i am form Switzerland)

    Regards

    Arktikum

The playing too fast is a known problem and it’s usually because someone has plugged in a power supply with the wrong polarity.

    It’s all fixable, but expensive.

Thank you very much TooCool4 for your suggestion. Shame that it will be expensive. I had the plan to fix it myself. But i know when to much is to much. Maybe i sell it and look for a another Unit.

    Regards

Shop around you may get a good price for fixing it, ask Deb64 or Magnetic Blood on this site for quotes. You never know?

Here is a short video for showing the knocking issue :

Unfortunately is a Repair in Switzerland even more costly i think. People pay crazy Prices for Hifi related stuff.

    Thanks for the suggestions TooCool4
