Howdy Oz ...... Indeed, a long time, my dear buddy. Your choice of playback & video is superb. I've got the same cassette tape, and Pannozzo's recording on compact disc. Purchased that disc back during 2016, directly from Pannozzo's website. He was performing in NYC, I was fortunate and experienced his gig at The Bitter End Club in Greenwich Village. Outtasight scene back then !!! Man, that cassette by the Italian Maestros is magnificent when playing on the Dragon Deck. Cheers, Bleus de Nakker
Ozzy ..... Another superb pre-recorded cassette, on the AudioSource label, early 1980s Check it out: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1650780358...aultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2563228.c101124.m2109 Cheers Bleusy
My goodness! Thanks for commenting on my post an d I appreciate the link you have provided. I have not gone to it yet but promise to do so later today. How have you been mister? All my best, Oz
Davide Pannozzo is such a friendly young fellow. Chit-chatted between sets, and he autographed my copy of the album. What a guitarist, improvising and bluesy with his Hendrix renditions live and studio recordings. Sweet !!! And thanks again for posting your video and audio of 'Red House' by Pannozzo. So, Ozzy, what are your thoughts regarding the 'Jazz at the PawnShop' cassette, a recently rediscovered treasure? As you likely know, this album was originally released by the Proprius Records label in Sweden, and is still regarded as one of the best live recorded jazz performances. Learning that AudioSource in California recorded master tapes to do a cassette version during early 1980s, and done on quality JVC cassette and metal tape is a wonderful addition to my collection. Perhaps your collection also? Curious that we had not known about this pre-recorded cassette until recently ...... Maybe we can initiate a thread later covering the essence of the 'Jazz at the PawnShop' album and AudioSource cassette recording. Cheers, Bleusy
Happy Holidays to all ..... and especially to Oswaldo, with his astounding audio recording gear he shares !!! Cheers, Bleus de Nakker
