Hey guys, I've recently gotten a D6C for my wife as a christmas gift, and unfortunately it's broken and the seller never told me. I'm trying to find somone that could repair it. I've been told by doctor walkman that it's probably the CX20084 that's broken, and I can also update the heads. If there's anyone who's able to do the repair or anything to help me out that would be great and appreciated.
Can you not return it, since the seller did not tell you it was broken? That is what I would do. They are expensive to repair, I can recommend Deb64 or magnetic blood to help you but both are not in the US.
I'm currently working on getting a refund and the seller doesn't seem interested in getting back the walkman so I might end up with it for free.
(This thread is best located in the Walkman section.) @Valentin serviced my D6C recently, although that would require you to ship it internationally.
@Emiel Thank you for mentioning me, but I think he is better off finding someone in US to avoid the high shipping costs and customs delays. There is a list of 3 potential repair services here: https://stereo2go.com/forums/threads/best-repair-services-in-the-world.1336/, but I believe there are more in reality.
