Agree with you on the comment about not letting the display/vitrines get out of hand.
On the fan page comment; I recently started the DD overview and subsequent timeline.
If someone wants to use these as templates (Excel and PowerPoint), let me know.
The timeline is not yet to my liking, but for now it’ll do.

We've had a few EU Members with video skills, this would make a fascinating subject, too bad TPR isn't around these days he knew everything about all of the manufacturers.

Good luck with the building, let me know if you need me to hop over, my construction season ends in a few weeks but then hockey kicks in......

Hi @autoreverser, i’m a complete newbie, i’ve loved looking through all of your clones. I’ve recently bought myself an irradio tape-sound 6, can i be really cheeky and ask you for a few photographs of the battery door on yours please? Unfortunately mine was missing, so i was hoping to design and resin print something similar to the original :) I have an idea of how it attaches, but a photo might help me further

I am sure that of that Arrow Sound tripper III .. that you see at the beginning of this post (Page 1) there is a version marked Geloso or Irradio ... I recognized it from the Blue button and the Play button ...

great collection, I like these. I am selling much of my collection, with no pattern, just whatever I pull out... there is a slight chance I have one somewhere hou don't, but I doubt it! How about pre-walkmans, like a Magnavox Pocket Secretary, which is heavy enough to tear a pocket!

I just noticed that mini-pinball Auto, can you post a photo of it?

It's a sad day when the collection has to go Tim Walters, luckily the market is up right now and there's a lot of interest. The older models don't get a lot of love but they look fantastic displayed, you can't beat the construction and look of the early models.

This is a model that I own. I looked all over the Internet and I can’t find any information about it. It says Nikko.
It is in very good condition. 9B920AFE-EA19-48E1-8434-6BF463035B24.jpeg 81A946E1-C946-4229-B75E-F8CF1F5BF646.jpeg 2AD5FA3F-322C-4E77-A851-7D9D4423AE8E.jpeg

Auto, do you have a TPS-L2 that you can stand next to another model, I was thinking the Sony was larger and most of these were 2nd generation and slightly smaller.

I'd love to see the Sony next to the UNIX PC200 to see if Marantz had "borrowed" any Sony Design. Marantz and Sony were pretty tight going into 1979 and I've always wondered how much Marantz knew about the upcoming Walkman.

Looks like another clone of same machine! I said before: These were well made in the early 80's & although not built to last in theory, they simply have lasted & are a great machine in any guise! :thumbsup2:

I think the fact that most were better than cheapo-plastic has kept them from being tossed. They had to have made millions and millions of them as well.

the Samsung MyMy is a 100% cloneman. i don‘t have one myselfe - i wouldn‘t mind but i‘m not willed to pay those exagurated prices. if one of you folks got one out there, i‘m willed to swap for some other unit, maybe a WM-3 (?)

@ mister x: i can make some pics with a cloneman vs. WM-3 as i have sold all my TPS-L2 in the past but kept a few WM-3.
