    Hi,

I have an Aurex RT-CD30 boombox and been trying to find the service manual online but no luck.

Does anyone know how to adjust the tape azimuth without taking the boombox apart.

I can't insert a tape with the door in the way and pressing play the azimuth screws for playback A and B are not easy to access.

    Thanks :)

    I resolved the issue myself.

That's such a rare box, maybe JDM only? Sometimes the door will slide up, how did you fix it?

When pressing play The 2 x azimuth screws are just accessible with a flat blade screw driver and they only needed a slight adjustment for playback A and B. :)

I had to adjust with no tape inserted so adjusted less that the width of the tip of the screw driver each time

Good to know, it's like a brain-buster puzzle. Post some photos of the box it sounds kind of unique!

I am quite amazed how well it sounds with only 2 speakers. Easily as good as some of my Sony and Sanyo 2 way stereos.
Once the azimuth was set correct the highs are nice and clear yet plenty of bass
