The little TVs were very popular here with caravaners, probably because they were about half the price of the equivalent Sony. A few years ago the Amateur Radio Club I am in got donated a Rigonda Perle Organ / Keyboard to sell (minus the amplifier that powered it). That ended up going all the way back to Latvia.

Sad history after 1990 year when we get independance from soviet union. Every factory was eliminated, because politics dont need nothing to produce and manufature. That was sad for history, because we produce lots of audio, video, trains, car, dress, shoes, for home furniture, for kitchen tools. There even more, cant remember all.

I had some very nice Black Ash shelves made using real wood veneer bought from MFI
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MFI_Group
and to my surprise "made in the USSR.
    Please excuse the dusty photo
    Balmoral Walk_0003.jpg
The problem in the 1990s was that neither MFI or the former USSR countries could compete with Ikea.

p.s The Toshiba TV was made in the U.K. as were most TVs sold here back then.
