New to this site, after seeing a post about belt replacement on a Sony boombox. Collecting Tandberg cassette players, Revox Cassette and Turntables, as well as Thorens Turntables.
Welcome, feel free to post your other equipment, most of us love and own all types of audio equipment and it sound like you have some cool stuff!
Here are some of my units I use. All my gear is made in USA, Canada, or Europe. As far as collector units, I prefer the 316/318/320/321 series Thorens turntables, 330 and 440 Tandberg cassette players, Revox B795/B790/B291/B791 turntables and B215 cassette players. I've also been buying up some exotic boomboxes to repair and play for fun. Was stationed in Germany in the 80-90's (Air Force), and grew an affinity for German engineered products. That doesn't stop with audio gear. I collect Rolleiflex and Minox cameras too. Eric
Very nice! I dabble in about everything, I've been picking up cast-offs for years, amazingly they're actually worth something now. It kills me how many tape decks I walked by because I was using the room for recievers and turntables but I did score a nice collection, nothing spectacular but a few Naks, JVC, and more. I like to have the full matching stack and for a long time it was possible, now even the EQ's and cassette decks are collectable. My first turntable came from the German Military Exchange, they brought it back here and it didn't work and I got it free! Easy fix, there was a voltage selector in it..........
