    Hi everyone,

I joined this forum some time ago because I was looking for tips and advises to repair my Sony M-100B Microcassette Recorder which I would like to use for my Ambient music project.

Well, after a while I decided to move forward and trying to repair it on my own since I couldn't understand what was wrong with it.

I decided to make a nice video about my repair adventure and put it on my YouTube Channel:

My English is not the top, but I did my best ;)

Hope it will help somebody to know better this amazing piece if you also got a not working one and you would like to fix it.

I will soon release more videos like that, as I need tape devices for my music project and I still have a bunch of dictaphones to be repaired.

Stay tuned, put a like on my video or simply Subscribe and help me to let my Channel grow.

    Cheers!

Try to put a cassette in side the machine.
    Sometimes both reels must turns.

Hi! You meant in the second one? Of course I put a cassette inside, and there was no sound coming out at all. I found those component who doesn't work in the end, but nevermind, as many other things are broken like the speaker and the headphones jack, so I will put it aside as replacements.

Thanks, and subscribe to my channel if you liked the video. I'm preparing another one about restoration of a Sanyo, and soon I will try to fix a lot of 5 Sony M-607V ... what a challenge :D
