Hello, I used to follow old forum and then put my stuff away in storage until now that I have space and time to enjoy the hobby.
I sold most my old boomboxes

but still have 3-4 left to restore.
I also have 2 Aiwa recordings Walkmans that need restore as well.
I am currently focused on attaining a National RX 7200 if anyone willing to part with one.
    Wishing everyone well.

Welcome back! Were you around when the original forum owner had a few NOS RX-7200's he was selling for around $600? That seemed like silly money in the early 2000's but it would have been a great investment now. Who nows, he might still have some if you can track him down....

That collection is amazing! In the old days I never knew all these cool boxes existed and there wasn't much information on the internet.

Yep it's ridiculous pricing now, but something I decided on. Only see Japan sources currently.
I was around in 2012, so I dunno if I recall that.

I'm going this coming week to get all my boxes out of storage
I'm not even shure what I have besides my National RX7000 & Sanyo 9994, which needing restoration.
I used to light boxes up,

but now I rather make things look more natural.

That Sanyo looks amazing, one of the coolest little boomers built, any more photos of it lit up? That would look great up on a bar shelve while sipping adult beverages and listening to music.

I had sold this unit in absolutely mint like new condition.
Maybe the new owner may one day post.
I kept a second one, same unit but more used, in my avatar.
I sold off alot of really nice boxes.
I do miss them , lol.
I am ok with the few I still have.

It's too bad they didn't have better "mood" lighting on old boomers, they really pop with it. I picked up my M7880 on a late-night BIN for cheap and love it, it's hard to tell how small they are from the photos.

While I'm running out of room, I bought another two boxes this week, one looks to be extra special but it hasn't come yet. I'll post when they show up.
