Walkman DD-33, when mounting back the outer chassis the motor slow down

Hello all,
I had managed to fully restored a Walkman DD-33 that I found on eBay, for now this is a complete list of what i have done (this is my first experience with walkman):

• Cleaned and re-lubed every internal part;
• Cleaned PCB board;
• Restored some oxidized contacts;
• Replaced the cracked center gear;
• Replaced the small reel gear that was cracked;
• Replaced the old stiff pinch roller;
• Replaced the old stiff capstan tyre;
• Upgraded sound quality by adding the capacitors suggested from "https://fixyouraudio.com/";

Now the walkman DD-33 is fully working in play/ff/rw mode and it sound great to my hears.
I have only an "unusual" problem that I cannot find online, when I mount back the external chassis the motor seem to slow down producing a strange "tremolo" effect it seems like that there is something in contact with the capstan wheel but I'm not quite sure.
If I remove the external chassis everything works great without any slowing or some sort of "tremolo" effect.


(yes i know, there is a missing screw, I thing the previous owner try to repair it losing that screw...)
My feelings is that there is something that is pushing down the motor in this spot as if i push it the rell hub will eventually stop:


Do you have any suggestion ?

At first, remove that black tape you placed in top of the motor. Try without it, since from factory there isnt anything there.

Now I have removed all the black tape, the tremolo sound is getting better but as i push down to screw in the chassi the motor keep slowing down a little, same spot as before.
There is something else that i can do ?

Yeah. A video would help a lot... with audio of a tape with some music that helps to listen the tremolo right away...

I have completely dissassembled the internals and I've found out there the main reel gear hub was moving becasu the "base" was broken, that was causing the axle to move, leading incosistency to the "main" magnetic gear.
Someone did try to glue it without anyt success.
This ebay bought is turning to be very unlucky....

Did you think that using a PTFE or PP glue can be safe in order to glue it to the main board ?

 

Of course, even Super Glue can do the job, i looked at it on a old board i have as scrap part, that reel base is hold firmly there so no problem. Its a fixed part.

If you need a part that is not broken, I am sure I have a ton of broken DD33's around.

 

Things is getting worse as I'm getting more seriuos to repair it, I surely need a replacement for these parts:

• I also need the transparent washre of the center gear arm, I cannot find it anywhere after the last dismount..... (my bad);

@TooCooL4 Did you have any of those pieces as a replacemnt to sell ?
I'm becoming crazy for this repairing project.

Now i see your desperation... So many bad parts. The ones i got before only needed the central gear and one needed a reel gear too.

Your's had some heavy use or bad use.
It happens ... hope ToolCool 4 can help you out.

 

MarcoRossi.94 I have the parts you requested, see attached image. I have 2 washers in the image not sure which one you mean, do you mean the one between the gears or the one for retaining everything together?
