    Merry Christmas everyone.
    42 years ago I had to wait until today to get my first boombox, a Sony CFS45L (which I still have).
    This year I had to wait to get my Anabas GP-N3R record player.
    Both came from Japan. The CFS45L via Sony and a shop. The Anabas directly from Japan.

    Would anyone have believed you if in 1980 if someone had said that in the future you could bid on Japanese auctions from the comfort of your living room ?
