Newbie to the cassette culture community. Recently took a trip to Japan, and purchased my first walkman (WM-109). Really love the availability and sound of electronic music on cassettes. Excited to learn more and dig deeper into this hobby!

Welcome! Cassettes nowadays can be blessing and curse... because of degraded tapes and also degraded devices. I'm new here as well, in the future I'd like to produce evidence of how good even simple normal cassette players sounded. I care for my devices and I want them to sound like they can and deserve to sound.
