    I saw Timbuk 3 when they were touring with their break-out hit but didn't have the "boombox" they always talked about, they used a reel-to-reel. They put the backing instruments on tape and the two piece band played the rest.

    The archival sites are fun to page through and the search engines keep getting better. The hard part is finding fresh content, sometimes I'll go back in the forum reader and see someone posted something similar years ago, sorry if something gets duplicated.....Thanks for the likes!

    Benson and Hedges, the stereo looks like an AKAI UC Series with a custom built cabinet that also houses the turntable. The equipment looks really nice like this, I've got an older version of the stereo, it has a ton of LEDs.
